The country’s largest automaker, Tata Motors, has launched a new version of the entry-level hatchback Tiago, priced at Rs 5.99 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi. The company said in a statement that the new version XTA has the facility of automatic manual transmission (ATM). So far, the company has sold more than 3.25 lakh units of the hatchback in the domestic market.

The ex-showroom price of Tiago’s starting base variant XE is Rs. 4.86 lakhs. While the top XZ + (dual tone) variant ex-showroom price is Rs 6.33 lakh and the automatic ex-showroom price is Rs 6.86 lakh.
The Tiago XTA is equipped with Bluetooth connectivity, a multi-function steering wheel, ORVM for electric adjustment, and a connect next infotainment system with a digital instrument cluster. Standard safety features include EBD and corner stability control with ABS, dual airbags, and rear parking sensor display.
The Tiago XTA has a 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder petrol engine that produces 85bhp and 113nm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed automated manual transmission. The AMT XZA is also available in XZA + trims.
