The Leap Motor LP-S01 was first announced two years ago and the Chinese car debuted earlier this year.
The LP-S01 fits that bill, with pleasant exterior design (that doesn’t appear to be a ripoff of any known established sports car), fastback style roof, and rear section, as well as an interior that looks minimalist and modern; it even has proper looking bucket seats.
The vehicle is fast too. It goes from 0-100 km/h speed in 6.9 seconds. The 2 doors electric vehicle has a 125 kW electric motor powering the front wheels. The claimed range of the vehicle is between 305km to 380 km. It is priced in its native China from the equivalent of $17,123 to $28,549.
As of now the models and trims are unannounced but we may get more battery options as well.
