Lorenzo really wanted to do the Wildcard in 2020, but Hard Luck.

This discussion is how Lorenzo failed to get his Yamaha Comeback. Well, he is a five-time World champion. He was looking for a wild card entry at the 2020 Catalan Grand Prix but saw no hopes till last. Soon after the announcements for retirement from Jorge Lorenzo, there was a shock.

We got MotoGP world in shock by Monster Energy Yamaha announcing him as their test driver. And it is quite sure, what we all thought about it. Will he be making a wildcard entry? The question – interesting, the answer, disappointing, for Lorenzo. This question was answered in March itself when both went for it.

But on changed circumstances, No wild cards are now permitted in grand Prix. Well, this was sad for Lorenzo, but he saw relief to it. Well. He knew he could not pull it off without tests. And it is good for him to not return into officials. Though he really wanted to go. But it would be hard for him, not to practice on race tracks at all, and then try to be competitive at the Grand Prix. He expects his next test soon, in Motegi or other tracks, soon enough. He saw a KTM testing in Spielberg, and so, he is hopeful.  he said he had a lot of fun in Sepang with his bike, and he can’t wait to repeat it.
