Lotus is starting a refined European variant of the Evora 410 that are intended to improve the relaxation in daily use of the car without damaging its high-performance capability.
It sits together with the present hardcore GT 410 Sport, which has received some improvements that are running. The model is known as as Phil’s spec’, because Lotus boss Phil Popham is known for its UK launch after attempting US-spec Evora, a more quiet, more supple.
The car costs #82,900, a cost that includes additions Usual equipment level. Its spec includes air conditioning sports seats, improved doorknobs, a tailgate using a larger glass area and a camera. The entire package saves buyers around #3000, says Lotus, and is currently available today.
The variant is intended to provide more refinement Fitment of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. It’s own damping with all Lotus models — was tuned by the chief of the firm and it has more soundproofing characteristics engineer.
“It is still extremely steady and quick,” Kershaw said, “but it is Quieter on it and coarse surfaces with impacts. You could say it’breathes’ better on challenging road surfaces, which is just what you need if you push your Evora daily.”
The same 3.5-liter supercharged V6 is used by the GT 410 since the GT 410 Sport, setting out – as the name implies – 410bhp and 310lb ft. As such, 0-60mph is attained in 4.0sec, although the top rate is pegged at 190mph.
