The country’s leading automobile manufacturer Mahindra is going to launch British-origin BSA Motorcles in the domestic market. The company will first introduce traditional internal combustion (IC) bikes in the market here, followed by electric bikes.
Let us tell you, BSA Motorcles is a British automobile manufacturer, recently acquired by Mahindra. According to new media reports, BSA bikes can be introduced in the Indian market this year. The company will first introduce regular models and will also introduce electric bikes in the market by 2022.
It is reported that this British company will manufacture regular models in Banbury Palant, later the production of electric bikes will also be started here. It is being told that this electric project will cost about 91 crore rupees. The batteries used in these electric bikes will be produced in the UK itself, there are reports that the company may also seek the cooperation of other companies for these batteries.
Mahindra & Mahindra is owned by Classic Legends, a company owned by BSA and Jawa brands. The Jawa brand has landed in the Indian market and the brand is also performing well here. In the first year itself, the company has sold more than 50 thousand bikes across the country. Now Indians are waiting for BSA bikes.
