Maruti Suzuki CNG kit cars are selling fiercely, these are advantages

Car sales figures have come in May. Maruti’s decades of reign in the top-10 cars list has ended. Hyundai Creta has been at number one, while Maruti has slipped to second place. But what is special for Maruti is that Maruti has sold the most CNG vehicles.

Maruti had sold 106443 CNG fitted vehicles in FY 2019-20 and the growth was compounded by 15.5% compound annual growth. The company currently sells seven of its vehicles with the S-CNG kit, including the Alto, Eco, Wagon R, Desire Tour S, Ertiga, Super Carry, and Celerio.

At the 2020 Auto Expo, Maruti launched Mission Green Merlion. Under which the target was to sell 2 million green vehicles. Apart from CNG vehicles, Maruti is selling mild-hybrid or smart hybrid vehicles in many of its vehicles. These vehicles are equipped with SVHS i.e. Smart Hybrid Vehicle System Technology.

Maruti claims that the factory fitted CNG vehicles give customers excellent performance, safety, performance, and better mileage. The company’s factory-fitted S-CNG technology vehicles come with dual interdependent ECU, dual solenoid system, and leak-proof tank design. At the same time, they have a vehicle intelligent injection system, which improves performance.

At the same time, the company is working on a plan to build a large network of CNG fuel pumps across the country. At the same time, by 2019, 50 percent of the pumps have been completed, but due to Kovid 19, now it is likely to be delayed. Also, the company will launch more vehicles with CNG kits, among them the mini MPV car S-Preso. The company can also launch the Celerio with a new CNG model.
