McMafia season 2 has been confirmed by BBC.
It is also confirmed that Alex will reprise his character role as James Norton, British-raised son of a Russian mafia boss living in London whose father is trying to escape from the world of organized crime.
It was premiered in the United Kingdom on BBC on January 2018, and in the United States on AMC in February 2018.

Yes, it is confirmed by BBC that there will be a season 2 but here is no official statement yet by BBC regarding the release date for season 2 of McMafia. Earlier, second season was expected to be released in 2019, then on the new year 2020, but we’ll have to wait till any statement is made by officials.
