There is bad news for lovers of the Netflix series, Messiah.
Netflix has confirmed that it won’t be returning for Season two and has axed the show.
Actor Wil Travel, who plays Will Mathers on the series, talked on his Instagram, expressing his sadness over the rescue, and took some time to thank the fans for their support and love.

Yes, it can be the show’s end with Netflix, but that does not mean network or another streaming service won’t pick this up. Netflix also axed one Day at a Time before Pop took over. Additionally, Designated Survivor and Lucifer were picked up by Netflix after ABC and Fox canceled them.
Season 1 came out on January 1, 2020, but it isn’t likely we’ll get Season 2 soon, even if the series were to obtain a new house, with the current world scenario. We can’t anticipate Season two to arrive in January 2021.

If Season 2 eventually has got the green light and makes it on to screen, then we can anticipate these cast members to return since they’re somewhat relevant to the plot:
