The roaring 2010 Lexus LFA has returned in Forza Horizon 4 with the Update 19 patch. It is one of the most loved supercars not only in the Playground Games series but almost in every other racing game that exists.
What is impressive that the LFA stands out completely in Forza with its looks and feel. Even the people at Playground Games themselves have appreciated its return to the game. The release notes of Update 19 quoted “A supercar from Lexus is a rare thing.
The LFA was a Halo Car, meant to change the way Lexus made cars, with principles developed for the LFA trickling down to every other car that Lexus produced. The LFA itself didn’t stick around for long, but its influence is still felt in every Lexus built.”
The release notes are pretty accurate, the Lexus LFA is a very rare car. It was revealed way back in 2009, at the Tokyo Motor Show.
The company made only 500 of these cars, which makes it extremely rare, that you cannot find one even if you can afford one.
The standard LFA packed a 4.8 liter V10 making 553 horsepower and redline at 9000 pm. This marked a 0-60 mph acceleration in just 3.7 seconds.
Out of the 500 cars produced, 50 had the Nurburgring Package with a 10 horsepower boost, gearbox tweaks and more carbon fiber on the body. The Lexus LFA was launched at an astonishing price of $375,000 and was discontinued in 2012.
