Naran, the company’s first hypercar will be a front-mounted engine car

Naran automotive, a Supercar startup by Ameerah Naran, an entrepreneur. The upcoming hypercar announced by the company will become the company’s first-ever road-going car.

Named as Naran, the hypercar will be a limited edition V8 engined, out to be competitor supercars like  Ferrari LaFerrariAston Martin Valkyrie and McLaren Speedtail.

The Naran is in the final stages of development. And the new company is strictly testing the upcoming hypercar for its speed and various other performance aspects at Imola and the Nurburgring.

According to the company, the hypercar will have a front-mounted engine. The power will come from a 5.0-liter V8 engine, capable of 1034 hp and 1036 torque. The Naran will be a four-wheel-drive vehicle. The hypercar will go 0-60 mph in just 2.1 seconds and 0-100 mph in 4.5 seconds. The top speed is estimated to be 230-250 mph.

The company has planned to manufacture the car’s body with a blend of carbon fiber and natural flax, to keep the curb weight under 1500 kgs.

The broad intakes on the company’s design sketch and wide diffuser on the car in the teaser image. It also suggests that the finished product will feature some form of underfloor aero setup or venturi tunnel, as found on the Aston Martin Valkyrie.

Naran could be expected for sale in mid- August. And the company has also announced a limited production of the hypercar to just 49 examples.
