The all-new BMW R 18 cruiser has been publicly announced after months of anticipation, plenty of screenshots and patent leaks.

It produces a maximum power of 91 HP at 4,750 pm. There a free shaft drive attached to a 6-speed transmission. So, BMW Motorrad says the R 18 has a maximum speed of more than 111 mph (178 km / h).

The BMW R 18 style is relatively straightforward and very sleek and eye-catching. The motorcycle’s fluid lines have a relaxing influence. And the major boxer engine is, of course, the showstopper.

The R 18 has various unique features in the circular headlight such as the LED DRL, handlebar-mounted side turn signals, a single-pod semi-digital instrument cluster, fishtail exhausts, and machined fuel filler cover.

BMW Motorrad’s new cruiser has two versions-the R 18. So, this is the main or regular version, and the R 18 First Version. All of these are available in Metallic Black Storm paint. The distinction between the two that special double pinstriping and additional chrome features derived from the R 18 First Edition. So, this limited to the model year 2021.

The R 18 comes standard with three riding modes-Storm, Fall, and Drop. The basic kit included both ASC (Automatic Stability Control) and Drag Torque Control from BMW Motorrad.

The regular BMW R 18 rated at 17,495 USD (INR 13.36 lakh). Buyers will have to shell out an additional USD 2,150 (INR 1.64 lakh) for the R 18 First Edition. Currently on sale is a Premium Kit that includes items such as adjustable headlight, hill-start power, reverse assist and many more.

This kit would set you back by a further USD 1,450 (INR 1.10 lakh). BMW Motorrad also sells a USD 225 Select Kit (INR 17,000 approx), which includes features such as an anti-theft warning, heated grips, and a lockable fuel filler top.
