Okinawa is set to take the wraps off its maxi electric scooter, the Cruiser. The organization had also published a teaser of the Cruiser a day or two back. We have received information about the battery and functioning of the scooter ahead of its official release.
Our sources from the company have shown that the Cruiser will have a high rate of 100kmph and a battery selection of 120kms . Also, the charging period of this battery will probably be approximately hours. They appear impressive while the numbers will slightly vary in real-world conditions. The Bajaj Chetak electric has a range of around 95kms and a top speed of 60kmph to give you a view. Meanwhile, the same numbers for the recently-launched TVS iQube stand at 75kms and 78kmph , respectively.
This Cruiser’s teaser image had also revealed a styling with big windscreen, a flowing design handlebar plus a seat and a slick and tail section. Additionally, it looks to have a maxi provision for feet . Furthermore, expect it to come with a multitude of information with a list of features such as an instrument cluster plus full-LED lighting.
There’s no advice about its pricing yet. However, looking at the performance and range figures, it will surely be more expensive than Okinawa’s latest flagship model, the i-Praise which retails at Rs 1.08 lakhs (ex-showroom).
