Its first season was first aired on 12 September 2013 and got 87% ratings from Rotten Tomatoes. The Second season was aired on 2 October 2014 and was able to get 100% ratings from Rotten Tomatoes. The Third season was released on 5 May 2016 and again got 100% ratings from Rotten Tomatoes. The Fourth season was released on 15 November 2017 and got 93% ratings and the fifth season 25 August 2019 with 84% ratings from Rotten Tomatoes.
Steven Knight revealed, If all goes according to plan, fans can expect the sixth and seventh series of peaky Blinders.
Season five left us all with so many questions- what will Tommy Shelby do next? Is this the end of the campaign to bring Oswald Mosley down? What will happen to Billy Grade? How Polly going to react to the death of his fiance Aberama Gold? So there are many questions arise in our mind after the end of season 5.
But there are no such details have been revealed regarding the plot of season 6 series. So all we have to do is to wait for the premiere of the series.
Casting has not been confirmed yet for season 6 but we can surely expect Cillian Murphy as Tommy Shelby. Other main casts of the series include Paul Anderson (Arthur Shelby), Harry Kirton (Finn Shelby), and Sophie Rundle (Ada Thorne). We can also expect to see Tommy’s second wife Lizzie Shelby (Natasha O’keeffe).
The remaining cast has yet to be confirmed by the creators.
The date of the release has not been confirmed yet but it has been hoped that season 6 might release by the end of this year or at the start of 2021.
The new episodes are already written and have gone to pre-production but the shoot has been postponed due to coronavirus.
