A fixed date for the release of season six has not yet been announced. The production had already begun but was brought to a halt as a result of the corona pandemic. Hence, it will be some time before also the launch date along with the resumes would be announced. Showrunner Steven Knight commented, ‘we are doing [series] six, and we will likely do seven’. Well, that’s a relief!

It appears that season six will adhere to the seasons and consist of six episodes. The first episode is titled as’Black Day’ and will last in the cliff-hanger that year five left us with. Peaky Blinders follows the exploits of the Shelby family in the aftermath of the First World War.
Season five watched Tommy Shelby appearing to kill himself after his unsuccessful assassination attempt. This demonstrates that season six will be heavy and daring. As the production has stopped 14, there isn’t a trailer. But we could expect something. Until then, stay safe!
