Pennyworth is an American crime drama TV series created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger based on DC Comics. The show has so far completed one season and made its debut on July 28th, 2019. The series was premiered on Epix and got 72% from Rotten Tomatoes and 8/10 from IMDb. Season 1 of Pennyworth consists of 10 episodes. The series got moderate reviews from the audiences. The executive producers of the show are Bruno Heller and Danny Cannon. The storyline involves Alfred is a former SAS soldier. He goes to work for Thomas Wayne after forming his own security company. It’s all set in 1960s London.
The star cast from Pennyworth season 1 includes Bannon and Aldridge, Emma Paetz as Martha Kane, Hainsley Lloyd Bennett as Bazza, Ryan Fletcher as Dave Boy, Dorothy Atkinson as Mary Pennyworth and Polly Walker as Peggy Sykes will be seen in the season 2. Pennyworth has officially announced the renewing of the series for the 2nd season on October 30th, 2019. Like season 1, season 2 will also consist of 10 episodes. The filming of the series began in early 2020, and the production is planning to premiere its 2nd season in the late 2020s. Reports say that the creation of season 2 will end somewhere around august or September. And season 2 is expected to be released from October – November 2020.
