Peter Rabbit 2 Release Date, Cast, Plot And Upcoming Movie News

The outbreak of coronavirus has affected all the sectors a lot and specially the entertainment industry has been completely gone down. One such movie that is delayed is the sequel for Peter Rabbit. Sony has made a decision to put the movie’s release on hold for five months. The studio has put one more major movie on hold and that’s No Time To Die.

Peter Rabbit was a super successful movie of the franchise. It came in 2018. The central character of the movie, the bunny is voiced by James Corden. He will again be back as the voice artist to give his voice to the rabbit. The film was supposed to get launch on 27th March in UK and rest of the European territories. Whereas in US and rest of the world the release was scheduled to be on 3rd April. Unfortunately, coronavirus happened to spread before the release date and the whole world got locked down. Thus, the movie’s release also has to be postponed.

However, now the final release date for it is fixed as 7th August in Europe and the rest part of the world will get to watch it after a week. Moreover, in the US also it is expected to arrive on 7th August. Apart from James, the other vocalists in the show are Margot Robbie and Elizabeth Debicki. Whereas, Rose Byrne, Domhnall Gleeson and David Oyelowo are the cast members playing their roles in the movie.

Even if the movie releases on the decided date, it will have to bear some major loss due to the theatres being closed in several parts of the world because of the pandemic. For instance, Italy, India, France, Slovakia, China and many others.

The first film was a blockbuster one and made a collection of around $351 million from all around the world. But it’s quite obvious that its sequel won’t be able to make that much.
