Depp was reportedly dropped from the billion-dollar Disney franchise, Pirates of the Caribbean, a year ago, following his people high court case against a British newspaper. The lawsuit saw him battling claims that he was a”wife-beater” about his ex-wife, Amber Heard. New reports are emerging that assert a u-turn in the House of Mouse is being considered for his seemingly lost role in the Pirates series. The report states”Disney is re-considering the celebrity’s revival in their franchise,” after the enormous online petition that calls for his return.
The report goes on to include: “Rumours are rife that the Change.org petitions have compelled the makers to rethink.”
The petition in question arrived this past year, and was titled: “We want JOHNNY DEPP back as CAPTAIN JACK SPARROW.” Since it arrived online, it’s racked up a shocking 430,000 signatures.
Incorporating Jack Sparrow back into the series will not be too hard for the provider. He had been last seen alive and well in the movie, Salazar’s Revenge, which came out in 2017.
In reality, the film also seemed to be kicking off still another trilogy, set ten years after the franchise’s previous trio of films, as Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) was haunted by the ghoul Davy Jones (Bill Nighy) once again.
On the other hand, the way of Sparrow’s return might not be great news for fans.
It has recently been confirmed that another collection of Pirates movies will probably be starring Margot Robbie, with rumors that the entire cast will be altered also.
With Robbie now steering the boat, it’d make sense for Sparrow to make a comeback into the series to deliver the keys into the Black Pearl.
Fans were understandably furious at reports that Sparrow may be murdered off-screen, so they might avoid bringing the celebrity back – therefore his return may be of a last blaze of glory to the personality, in place of the beginning of a new series of movies.
Nevertheless, Robbie being granted Depp’s blessing onscreen would be a massive moment for the show, and lovers will no doubt want to view it.
Right now, even though there is no official word was given so far about the plot of Pirates of the Caribbean 6 there has, however, been rumors on what fans can expect following.
There has, however, been a ton of rumors this month about the continuing legacy of this sequence.
Following insider Daniel Richtman, the Pirates of the Caribbean series will receive another ten releases in the universe.
These ten new installments will reportedly be coming in a variety of forms, including mainline movies, and spin-off movies.
In a sudden cast in Disney, the scooper also states some of the newest installments will be coming on Disney Plus since TV shows.
Fans of course will be thrilled to see Bloom and Kiera Knightley will soon be making a triumphant return as Turner and Elizabeth Swann.
Depp experienced some awkwardness in place whilst working with Knightley in the first movie, Curse of the Black Pearl, after being requested to kiss her on-screen.
Depp at the time was in his 30s, while Knightley was in her teens.
Speaking at the moment, Depp clarified: “Any sort of scene such as that whenever you are doing that sort of thing, it is always unbelievably embarrassing especially having fulfilled Keira when she was 17 years old.
“However, she was a fantastic sport about it and we did what we had to do.”
Knightley, on the other hand, added: “I could not ask for a better kissing scene with Johnny Depp. I think my 14-year-old self was yelping with pleasure. It was great!”
