Pirates of the Caribbean franchise has become one of the largest selling film series of Disney in the previous twenty decades. Pirates of the Caribbean 6 has already become a highly anticipated film, and lovers are highly looking forward to the most recent developments encircling it.
Pirates of the Caribbean 5 created nearly USD 800 million globally. But, there have been a lot of changes in behind the scenes, casts, productions and much more doubt happened related to the launch of Pirates of the Caribbean 6 since the fifth film was premiered.
Nobody can say what plans Disney has in mind related to Pirates of the Caribbean 6. The film is yet to acquire an official release date. But, its production was affected in the previous year in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
The famed character Captain Jack Sparrow’s returning can be linked with Pirates of the Caribbean 6 future. The audiences can’t imagine a Pirates of the Caribbean film or some future installments without Johnny Depp (who played the role of Captain Sparrow in the previous movies).
Johnny Depp is in a legal battle with his ex-wife Amber Heard. He refused that the domestic violence allegation that was billed by Amber Heard. His private life has been taking a toll on his profession. It was earlier reported Disney blocked each of the chances for Johnny Depp to return to Pirates of Caribbean 6.
Again, in January 2021, Disney allegedly hired him for Pirates of the Caribbean 6, after defending him in court cases. According to the report, Disney is re-considering Johnny Depp from the franchise after the massive petition that urges for his return.
“Rumours are rife that the Change.org petitions have forced the manufacturers to reconsider,” as written in the report. Now a petition titled”We need JOHNNY DEPP back as CAPTAIN JACK SPARROW” is quickly approaching half a million signatures.

He has been playing this role since 2003 when we first saw him arriving at the Port Royal in his boat with this epic history music playing.
But can you imagine no Jack Sparrow whatsoever? No epic entry scores, no humorous dialogues, and the man with the best and bad fortune at precisely the same time?
Based on some reports, Disney is making a plan to make ten more projects including television shows and spin-off movies. The celebrity Margot Robbie will officially lead the spin-off movie and Christina Hodson will pen the screenplay.
“With Robbie currently steering the boat, it’d make sense for Sparrow to make a comeback to the series to deliver the keys into the Black Pearl,” Express.co.uk noted.
