Racing Point to Sebastian Vattel – Team more focused on re brand of Aston than new drivers

Is it possible that Sebastian Vattel going with the Racing Point in the next season? It may be. But what we hear from sources lead no clue to this. According to Racing Point CEO and Team Principal Otmar Szafnauer, the team is heading for something else. And they want to focus on the rebranding of Aston Martin. They are going for the transition of Aston’s workforce for 2021. And their least focus is on the new driver line-up. Sebastian Vettel is in news the day since the announcement came out that he and Ferrari are to part at the end of 2020. And many speculations of his next steps are being made. It is a big question: Where will the four-time champion driver end up for 2021? And which company is next for him? Assuming he doesn’t retire from Formula 1 races as the sport’s third most successful driver ever.

Currently, the racing Points lineup consists of their boss Lawrence Stroll’s son Lance and Sergio Perez. They have a contract to end in 2022, which seems less to bother. But the team is still seen to move for Vettel. But it is clear from Szafnauer, he focuses more now to become the Aston Martin workforce for 2021 than go for a new driver line-up. He is curious about the news in the drivers market. And also aware that Carlos Sainz is up for replacement of Vettel at Ferrari. Also, he knows that Daniel Riccardo is moving from Renault to McLaren. He is sure this enough to keep fans and media busy, and he is clear of this perspective for now.
