As we’re expecting Land Rover to unveil the new generation model by the next year.
Land Rover is up in arms in the development of the Range Rover lineup. At current the second generation model has out since 2014. So the British marque is just right on time to launch a complete reboot.
Earlier in February, both the flagship Range Rover and the smaller Range Rover Sport caught testing on separate occasions. Therefore, it is showing us the early development of the all-new models. Likely, the designs hidden under wraps, so we are not sure in what directions LR is leading to.
However, we don’t look so far away to know what Land Rover wants to employ on its car design-wise. The new Defender may give us a glimpse of this new design language. While the rendering is more of design study and wasn’t really based on spy images. As we can see the haloed headlamps fit the Range Rover Sport quite well in combination with the meshed grille. So the subtle information on the hood adds a bit flavor, and so is the body-colored panel in between the C- and D-pillars.
Land Rover not just develops two big guys in the Range Rover range. This week, a long-wheelbase Evoque has spotted testing, suggesting a three-row model coming soon from the smallest Range Rover. On the other side, trends dictate that the upcoming seven-seat Evoque will initially reach China and other Asian markets due to the demands.
However, the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport, expect LR to reveal both the cars by next year as a 2020 model year.
