Renault Caputr facelift gets a green flag in Russia

Did you know, the Renault Captur is called ‘Kaptur’ in Russia. Nevermind, the crossover SUV still gets updates for the Russian market.

What’s new with the looks in and out?

The noticeable changes in the Renault Captur facelift include a new studded grille in the front. Looking form the side the new 17-inch alloy wheels shine out. The ones Captur adds new blue body shades to the body paint options. The vertical grille has LED day time running lights which upgrade the looks. The old-gen headlights match perfectly little chrome touch on side skirts and door handles.

It also gets upgrades to its feature list that includes a larger 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a Bose sound system, a 360-degree camera auto-dimming inside rearview mirror, and a blind-spot monitoring function.

What’s new under the hood?

The new Captur gets a new powerful 1.3-liter TCe turbo-petrol engine developed in partnership with Mercedes-Benz. The power production is 150 PS and  250Nm of torque. the buyer will get an option to choose from 2WD and 4WD with a  CVT paired to either.

Expect Renault to bring the facelifted Captur SUV to Indian shores later this year at a premium over its predecessor which retails from Rs 9.50 lakh to Rs 13 lakh (BS4 ex-showroom Delhi).
