This new bike of Royal Enfield is going to be launched soon. Reports say that it will be launched in the market as a replacement for Thunderbird. The new bike will be available in several variants, one of which will be the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 Fireball. Recently its pictures were leaked, which has revealed a lot of details of the bike. It will be designed and developed on the new double-cradle chassis. It will get round headlamp with chrome bezel, circular instrument console, teardrop shape fuel tank, stepped seat, black engine case, and circular taillamps. The bike will have a new petrol engine of BSVI compliant 350cc. The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 can be launched in June-July. It is expected to be priced between Rs 1.65 lakh and 1.75 lakh.
Royal Enfield is about to bring a new generation model of its popular motorcycle Classic 350. The modern Classic 350 has been spotted several times during testing. It will be based on the new double-cradle chassis used in the Meteor 350. The new model will get many new styling elements, including alloy wheels and wind reflectors. The bike will come with revised fuel tank, redesigned tail lamps, new Grab rails, and exhaust. It will get a semi-digital instrument console with a digital display and analog speedometer. Apart from these, many more changes will be seen on the new bike. The modern Classic 350 will have a new 350cc engine with SOHC and a fuel injection system. The bike can be launched in the second half of this year. Its price is expected to be around Rs 1.60 lakh.
Royal Enfield’s upcoming new bikes also include the Himalayan with a higher capacity. The design of the Himalayan 650 is expected to be similar to the current Himalayan of 410cc. Royal Enfield unveiled the new 650cc parallel-twin engine at the 2017 EICMA show. This engine is given in the company’s Interceptor and Continental GT bikes. The same engine is expected to be found in the Himalayan 650. This engine generates 47bhp of power and 52Nm of torque. The Himalayan 650 can be launched in 2020-21. Its price is expected to be around 3.5 lakh rupees.
