Henry Cavill is again thought to return as Superman, so that must mean the time is a charm.
Over the last couple of weeks, it has been reported at least two times that Henry Cavill is returning to the Superman role.
Back in March, the Lords of this Long Box scooped that Henry Cavill will likely be showcased in Shazam! 2 within an epic battle against Zachary Levi.
Now the latest rumor provides that Cavill won’t be featured in brand new Superman films – meaning no Man of Steel two (at least right away) – but rather, Henry is going to be used just like how the Hulk has been used in the Marvel films, meaning in other flicks.
It’s been rumored that Dwayne Johnson wants Henry to get Black Adam films, also we can put in that Henry’s supervisor happens to become Dany Garcia, the ex-wife and business partner of Johnson’s, with both Garcia and Johnson producers on the Shazam! And Black Adam films.
Garcia also seemed to tease which Henry Cavill is again as Superman when Henry lately appeared in Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel Watch Party that had the large Snyder Cut announcement.
Recently also saw it reported that Henry had been signing a new deal to carry on to play Superman, so according to this new rumor, it is a lot.
A previous rumor also offered that Henry was coming back into the Superman role as Warner Bros. has decided against moving ahead with a Supergirl film which was presumed to be a method to soft reboot Superman.
Deadline offers that plans are underway for Cavill to return to the Superman role, but not in a Man of Steel 2 or Matt Reeves’ The Batman.
The Website notes Henry could return in Shazam 2, Black Adam, or even Aquaman 2.
Seeing the Snyder Cut of the Justice League film, Cavill now backs it, as he posted about it on social websites that included a brand new poster.
“Just had a small chat with Zack Snyder following a Man of Steel watch celebration,” posted Henry into Instagram. “Ladies and Gents, it eventually happened. The Snyder cut will be out next year! I know if it will ever happen for a while and there have been two camps over the whole Snyder Cut thing. Just remember, most of us get to have more Justice League it is a win-win. Be nice to one another;-RRB-. Big congratulations to you, Mr. Snyder!”
Cavill told Men’s Health back that he had not given up on the function.
“The cape is still in the cupboard,” he explained. “It is still mine. I am not going to sit quietly in the darkened as the stuff is happening. I’ve not given up on the role. There is a lot I need to give for Superman yet. A good deal of storytelling. A lot of true depths to the honesty of the character I wish to enter. I would like to reflect on the novels. That is significant to me. There’s a lot of justice to be performed for Superman. The status is: You’ll see.”
