Spotted: Ferrari hybrid mule being tested, beside SF90 Stradale

While other brands are running towards the electrification, it looks like Ferrari is also up to something new, for remaining in the race. The spotted Ferrari had a similar body to that of 288 but the bold yellow high voltage sticker depicted something else.

The exhaust tips were higher than usual. The side intakes were bigger and easily visible from the frontside angle. If no had noticed, there’s a blue wire sticking out of the passenger window that hints that Ferrari was monitoring the performance of the mule. This might be just to test the upcoming engine and hybrid variant that the Italian automaker let the 488 out with such configurations. We might actually get a whole new designed body for the third upcoming hybrid from Ferrari after LaFerrari and the SF90 Stradale.

The name is big suspense itself, but with the word of the revival of Dino, we might have spotted the same.  As to when the wraps will come off, the car will reportedly be unveiled in the first quarter of next year but it won’t enter production until Q3 2021. Meanwhile, the SF90 Stradale Spider and another vehicle will likely be unveiled later this year.
