Take heart Stranger Things fans, and Season 4 has just taken a significant step forward. The show has been on hiatus since the coronavirus pandemic caused a gigantic shutdown from the film and television industry. This latest development is a massive boost, although There’s been a bit of hopeful news on production during the sabbatical. Check it out:
Stranger Things will allegedly be among the first series to start filming when restrictions lift, and it has what it needs to shoot Season 4 entirely. The authors of Stranger Things have apparently finished writing the whole season! To say it’s a development would be putting it mildly. It’s nice to see that the staff has been busy during the hiatus.
It follows that all that is left is to get Stranger Things filming Season 4, and post-production, which will occur after filming is done, of course. Additionally, it is crazy to consider that whatever questions you are now wrestling with concerning the upcoming installment may indeed lie in that pile of pages. What attracts the Eleven and the Byers family back in the new season to Hawkins?
Who knew that intrigue could be possessed by a seemingly small stack of paper? You just got a complete peek in the scripts for Stranger Things Season 4. Okay, so it might not have been an inside look, but it’s still exciting. Stranger Things’ Noah Schnapp formerly expressed excitement over the first four scripts he’d read.
Then think about if that’s not enough to get you pumped for Season 4. First off, Hopper is alive. Let your thoughts continue to think up theories regarding how that happened. And even though he is still among the living, Hopper will apparently be distinct when Stranger Things returns, which only makes things even more interesting.
Coincidentally, Hopper actor David Harbour has indicated that Season 4 could (emphasis on could) be delayed from its initial release date as a result of coronavirus pandemic. According to the actor, it was supposed to premiere in 2021.
While it’s upsetting that the date is currently up in the air, there’s some uplifting news in regards to how many strangers Things fans will see of certain characters. Fans should see a lot more of Lucas’ sister, Erica, and Russian-speaking ally, Murray Bauman, as both characters’ portrayers were updated to series regulars for Season 4.
While we do not know a lot about the season, it seems primed to start off with a bang, as the first episode’s name contains a pretty considerable X-Men reference. Prepare for a few “Hellfire” to be unleashed. I wonder what episode titles lie in that big stack of scripts.
