The website for its OVA season of this Strike that the Blood franchise, branded Attack the Blood IV, announced that the launch of episodes three and #4 could be delayed.
The release, together with all the episodes, was scheduled for June 24, 2020. The date was delayed due to this pandemic consequences in Japan, until July 29, 2020.
The statement failed to report changes until lately for the upcoming Strike.
Volume # 3, episodes 5 and 6: September 30, 2020.
Volume # 4, episodes 8 and 7: December 23, 2020.
Volume # 5, episodes 9 and 10: March 24, 2021.
Volume Number 6, episodes 11 and 12: June 30, 2021.
On the flip side, the OVA Strike at the Blood: Kieta Seisou-hen was one of those firsts from the franchise to incorporate an original narrative. It was released on January 29.
The magical novels of Takuto Mikumo moved a 24-episode anime adaptation in 2013 for the first time. Next, it was followed with just two seasons of OVAs in 2015 and between 2016-2017. It had been between December 2018 and September 25, 2019, the next period of OVAs, Strike the Blood III, premiered through five releases. Each setup had two episodes to bring together a total of ten.
This season, the anime maintains the same production team, including Hideyo Yamamoto, since Keiichi Sano is a character designer, Hiroyuki Yoshino as a screenwriter, and the director at CONNECT studios, and Jin Akategawa as the sound manager at Magic Capsule studio.
Risa Taneda introduces the closing theme. On the other hand, Akeboshi Rockets and Kishida Kyōdan perform the opening motif. The project also comprises the same cast of voices from previous productions.
