The first season of the show was premiered on 25th September 2019, and it went on till 25th March 2020. The show was initially set to be with 13 episodes, but with time and the interest and viewers it gained in such a short time, the makers couldn’t stay back and added 5 additional episodes, thus making the first season, a total of 18 episodes.
Considering such a great fan follower, that to just in the first season, the making of the second season cannot be denied. Yes, the second season of the show is all set and if everything goes up to the expectation then we could expect the show to be released by September, this season.
All the lead actors are expected to come back for season 2. These include Cobie Smulders as Dex Parios, Jake Johnson as Grey McConnell (Dex’s closest friend), Tantoo Cardinal as Sue Lynn Blackbird (Dex’s deceased boyfriend’s mum), Cole Sibus as Ansel Parios (Dex’s brother who suffers from Down syndrome), Adrian Martinez as Tookie (Dex’s informant), Camryn Manheim as Lieutenant Cosgrove, and Michael Ealy as Detective Miles Hoffman.
The plot of the first season goes showing a Marine veteran Dex Parios, living in Portland, Oregon. She suffers from PTSD, has a brother with Down’s Syndrome. Having a difficult life and many unpaid debts, Parios is forced to work as a private investigator, where she is assisted by Detective Miles Hoffman and Grey McConnell.
S1 showed crime cases that she tackles, which include the case of a missing girl, tracking down an escaped prisoner who was under a death sentence. She also helped a struggling writer.
S2, like one, is expected to come up with some more mysterious cases and we might see Parios, solving them.
