Suzuki has unveiled the brand new V-Strom 1050 and V-Strom 1050XT. The conventional bike is more street-focused while the XT variant is oriented. Both bikes use a 19-inch/17-inch front-rear wheel combo but the XT gets wire-spoke units while the variant rolls on alloy wheels. They both utilize exactly the exact same engine from the V-Strom 1000 but the motor is Euro 5-compliant.00
Suzuki has also updated the electronics package on the 1050s, which currently features load-dependent ABS, riding manners and traction control on the typical bike. The XT variant also gets controller and cruise control. An LCD instrument cluster has been added to assist control all these guides. Other features include a screen and an adjustable seat.
The overall design harks back with an imposing stance and tank extensions. Both versions get a fully adjustable upside-down front fork from KYB and mono-shock at the back. Braking is taken care of by radially mounted Tokico calipers biting down on twin 310mm discs. we hope that Suzuki brings those bikes to India in next year with the standard variant range at approximately Rs 14.40 lakh along with the XT at Rs 15 lakh (Both Price ex-showroom).Once launched, It Is Going to compete against BMW R 1250 GS, the Honda Africa Twin and Triumph Tiger 800 XCx.
