Tata Motors is preparing to launch the facelifted Tata Punch on January 13, 2026. The teaser images reveal changes to the exterior, including updated lights, alloy wheels, and a refreshed bumper. The facelift maintains the previous engine options and mechanical setup while offering a modernized SUV appearance.
Front Design and Styling Changes
The front fascia of the Tata Punch facelift shows new LED DRLs integrated into a slim housing across the upper section. The main headlamp units are positioned lower within dark surrounds on the refreshed bumper.
A revised grille has a more squared-off look with partial closure. Piano black elements are added, giving the front a sharper appearance without altering the basic design.

Mechanically, the Punch facelift continues with the 1.2-litre three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine. It produces 87 bhp and 115 Nm of torque, paired with a five-speed manual or five-speed AMT transmission.
A CNG variant with 72 bhp and 103 Nm is also available. There are no major changes in the suspension or chassis, keeping the driving experience similar to the previous model.
The engine options allow a balance of fuel efficiency and city driving performance. Transmission choices remain unchanged to maintain cost efficiency. This approach ensures the facelift focuses mainly on styling and minor feature upgrades.
Interior Expectations and Feature Additions
Interior details are largely unrevealed but are expected to include a larger infotainment screen from the Altroz. Additionally, a two-spoke steering wheel with the illuminated logo and a tweaked dashboard layout may be added.
The facelift could include updated upholstery and a fully digital instrument cluster. Additional features may include parking cameras and basic ADAS functions on premium trims.
