Temporarily retired Hero Xtreme 200S, Hero Xtreme 200R & XPulse 200 T?

Hero MotoCorp pulled three of its 200 cc bikes from its website-the Xtreme 200S, Xtreme 200R and XPulse 200T. This may mean that those versions were briefly discontinued by the company.

All three of the above versions complied with BS4. Hero MotoCorp has indefinitely halted all of its activities and shut down. So its production plants because of the ongoing nationwide lockout levied. By the Indian Govt until at least 14 April 2020. So, it may have been one of the key factors that triggered a delay in the introduction of the Hero Xtreme 200S. With Hero Xtreme 200R and Hero XPulse 200 T BS6 models.

Maybe that’s why Hero MotoCorp has briefly scrapped the Xtreme 200S, Xtreme 200R and XPulse 200 T BS4 models. When the current COVID-19 situation requires, the company will relaunch those bikes in their BS6 avatar and then put them back on its official website.

Xtreme 200R and Xtreme 200S are brothers and sisters. The former is a nude motorcycle and the other is a complete working unit. Both use the same BS4-complaint 199.6 cc single-cylinder engine with a combined power output of 18.4 PS and a peak torque of 17.1 Nm. This air-cooled engine has 2 valves and attached to a 5-speed gearbox.

The Xtreme 200R and Xtreme 200S both have the same range of equipment like the brake and suspension system. However, the Xtreme 200S better suited for functionality. For starters, it features a full-LED headlight and a Bluetooth-connected digital instrument console for turn-by-turn navigation.

The XPulse 200 T is a Hero XPulse 200 road-based version. It also uses the same single-cylinder 199.6 cc engine as the Xtreme 200R and Xtreme 200S. The XPulse 200 T sports an LED headlamp, Bluetooth-enabled wireless instrumentation and a USB loader under the bench.

In other events, the brand’s official website already listed the all-new Hero Xtreme 160R. Nonetheless, the launch of the bike may have postponed because of the current situation with Coronavirus.
