Nissan has got to take out its IMk EV concept. And it hag got the name of “little Box” from the automakers. It is a typical advancement in the crucial K-car segment of the Japanese home market. It has got the description as the future base of every action taken up by automakers in Japan. Nissan Senior Vice President for Global Design Alfonso Albaisa precisely said” IMk is our vision to every day and moment of life in Japan. These words emerged when he was introducing the little Box at the Tokyo Motor Show.
The Concept in little Box
The concept is using the words I and M in the little Box.And these words have been derived out of the company’s Trademark Nissan Intelligent Mobility brand strategy. And The concept lies emphasis on Nissan’s development of connectivity, electrification and autonomous driving. The idea of the letter ‘k’ is to bring back the need of the niche that came into existence in 1949. Albania stated that the design is defined by close, edged and charming micro-minimalism for the little Box. And, he took care not to miss out the words high tech and safety.
The Add-Ons
He emphasized that the car comes with high tech convenience and safety features. Not to forget, the best example for it is a smartphone-enabled version of Nissan’s ProPilot remote parking system. He also added that the little Box is hi8hly Spacious and it is worth to have. Just because the Nissan used the car’s flat floor concept in here. He was bent on giving this concept most of the credit for the transformation in the size of the vehicle. Shag carpets add to the point that the IMk concept in the little Box helps it deliver the ultimate in an urban EV mobility.
Talking more of the IMk concept, it implements more of lighting elements in the roof slats. And the traditional side mirrors comes into play by a pair of cameras to the in-car screens. This may be similar to Honda E. the IMk concept also applied to the front bench and the two conventional remains only- the Start button and the gear level.
