Amazon Prime Videos have not declared the official release date of the season, but the show is expected to broadcast around mid-2020. On the other hand, the circumstances the entire world finds itself in due to the Coronavirus pandemic may result in the installment.
The American internet television show is based on the book of Garth Emmis and Darick Robertson with the same name. The series follows the story of a bunch of vigilantes who band together to fight against the individuals that are known as heroes but are now abusing their abilities. The show is filled with a powerful dose of excitement and delight with activity, gruesome struggles. Among the reasons why the series gained so much attention, support, and the response was that the thoroughly planned and executed action scenes.
The cast of this series includes Karl Urban as Billy Butcher, the ringleader of the vigilantes who risk it all to go against a bunch of all-powerful personalities, together with Jack Quaid as Hughie, Laz Alonso as Mother’s Milk, Tomer Kapon as Frenchie, Jennifer Esposito as CIA representative Susan L. Rayner, and Karen Fukuhara as the Female. The cast is expected to return for season 2, together with a couple of new characters.
The series premiered on July 26, 2019. And to get another season, Amazon revived’ The Boys’ before the premiere. The shooting for the 2nd season had started in the summer of 2019 in Toronto.
