Prepare yourself as the popular Hulu show, and The Handmaids Tale comes back. Based on the book by Margaret Atwood, the show has enjoyed tremendous success. The show has managed to impress fans and critics alike with all its three seasons with brilliant viewership figures.
The show Occurs in the United States, after the Second Civil War. The show contains multiple awards for its title and will look to improve its tally. Having a fourth season round the corner, they will want to impress the fans again.
Release Date
The show has never noticed a dip in its popularity. In reality, it has only surged with time. After Netflix published the viewership numbers, it appeared that Season two had double the viewership than Season 1. With the third season expected to transcend the preceding seasons.
Renewing the series was never likely to be a question. Rightly so, Season 4 was announced just weeks after Season 3 proved. Nonetheless, it will be a while before the series returns. With the flaws because of the pandemic, don’t expect a return date before late 2021.
Cast
The series will look to retain most of its original cast. So expect to see little change in the lineup. The founders are to make any statements, but Elisabeth Moss seems to be back.
Joseph Fiennes and Yvonne Strahovski will join. Alongside them will appear, Alexis Bledel, Madeline Brewer, and Ann Dowd.
Plot
The series boasts a fascinating tale, one that highlights female battle and totalitarianism. With Season 4 yet in creating it’s really hard to evaluate the direction this Season might take. When asked, Miller has been cryptic about the upcoming Season although he’s inferred that he would like to stick close to the source material.
Then, the director might take some liberties in the text. Season 4 might focus more heavily on June’s character, but for now, there are only speculations.
