The Handmaid’s Tale is an American disaster genre net TV series. It is based on a novel of the same name written by Margaret Atwood in 1985. The show premiered with its first 3 episodes on April 26, 2017, in Hulu. The rest total ten episodes’ year premiered weekly. The show went successfully well with the launch of a year per year. Then it got renewed in July 2019 for a fourth season.
Release Date
The preceding seasons have been released around summers, but this time we don’t have any news about the release. Also, in September 2019, Hulu and MGM announced that they would be creating a sequel series, that is also based on Atwood’s novel’The Testaments.’ Juggling with just two series, and also the COVID-19 outbreak fuelling the delay, a release date isn’t finalized.
The show was revived for the fourth season in July, which led us to expect the release from August. So let us wait for a little more to know about the dates.
Plot
The series is set in the years after the Second American Civil War in a place Named Gilead. At this moment, the fertile women were exposed to childbearing captivity and were known as handmaids.’ A girl named June Osborne is the protagonist of this series who begins a rebellion. She smuggles children from Gilead. In the upcoming season, too, we’ll see how she assists kids and handmaids to become from Gilead to Canada.
