Two years later, The Kissing Booth is finally back for the screen. The sequel to the Netflix original movie, officially set to release on July 24. Judging by the new trailer, The Kissing Booth 2 seems to promise just as many ups and downs in the messy realms of love and friendship as the first.
The movie can be classified as a teen romantic comedy. The first part of the movie where Joey King as Rochelle (Shelly) “Elle” Evans, best friend of Lee and love interest of Noah. Joel Courtney as Lee Flynn, best friend of Elle, Noah’s younger brother and Rachel’s boyfriend. Jacob Elordi as Noah Flynn, Lee’s older brother and love interest of Elle.
The story is about when a high school student is forced to confront her secret crush at a kissing booth. Elle falls in love with Noah who is older brother of her best friend, it puts their friendship at risk but after few fights and arguments they settle it and work it out.
Elle spends an event full summer of excitement and romance with Noah before he goes to Howard.
The second part of the movie seems as entertaining, eventful and tragic as first part, and it is the continuation of the story. It will resume from where it was left. The trailer of the movie gave us a glimpse of the story and it is ride full of ups and down.
