Chad Stahelski has opened about Cooperating with Lana Wachowski on the hugely anticipated fourth Episode into The Matrix franchise.
Stahelski climbed to prominence thanks to his job since Keanu Reeves’ stunt double at the original movie, before going on to be the stunt coordinator on The Matrix Reloaded and Revolutions. Since then he has led all three installations to the John Wick franchise.
But he jumped at the chance to work on a Matrix 4 sequence after being approached by Lana Wachowski. Especially since, as he informed The Hollywood Reporter, Wachowski along with her”fantastic mind” makes one of the most”unique people” he has worked within the industry.
“She has some great thoughts. She understands the visual fashion. She knows what she is trying to state in the sequence. She wants to collaborate and determine how high you can take it in collaboration.”
“She comes with this thought. She comes with this bit. She comes with,’This is the personality. That is what is happening. This is the conflict. This is where I want him to become psychologically or emotionally or anything plot-wise at the end of this sequence. What do you have in your bag of tricks to make it crazy? ”’
Wachowski is challenging stahelski, too. The duo spends day after day” bouncing ideas off of each other” to make the set bit”bigger, better, cooler,” together with Stahelski admitting she ends up one-upping his ideas.
“She is probably still the most difficult individual, in a fantastic way, that I’ve ever worked with since she’s always taking your thoughts and going,’Okay, how can we make it better? ”’
For Stahelski, she is the perfect man to build upon The Matrix trilogy, which she created with her sister Lilly Wachowski, as she completely”knows what the fans want.”
“All I will say about what she is doing on the next Matrix is, if you love the Matrix trilogy, you are going to love what she’s doing because she’s amazing and fun and understands exactly what the fans want”
