Lilly Wachowski, who directed the Matrix trilogy, together with her sister Lana Wachowski; has said that anger and rage led the duo to make the movies. The manager will not be returning to the 2021-set Matrix 4 although Lilly helmed all three films of the original trilogy with her sister.
She is currently working on a new project”Work in Progress”, a Showtime comedy which explores pertinent issues of queer and transgender identity. The manager also recently lashed out at Elon Musk and Ivanka Trump for making nonsensical references to the”Red Pill”; together with both ignoring warnings about the COVID-19 pandemic along with a callback into the first Matrix movie.
The Wachowskis revolutionized the action genre following the release of The Matrix. The movie had Keanu Reeves as Hugo Weaving, Laurence Fishburne, Carrie-Anne Moss as Trinity and Neo.
