Wh in this world does have a desire for speed! From the day onwards when the wheel was discovered by the human civilization, the humans were very much cray about speed.
This not only created a means of faster mode of travelling and make the civilization truly “civilized”. So in 1920s, the craze of the people for speed, gave birth to event for speed lovers, what we call as Formula1.
Formula One also known as Formula1 is the highest class of single-seater auto racing and is sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) and owned by the Formula One Group. It has been recognised as one of the most renowned races in the world and is popular amongst all participants and viewers worldwide.
The FIA Formula One World Championship has been one of the premier forms of racing around the world and it renowned globally.
Going back to history, and looking for the first ever F1 race, the Formula One series was originated with the European Championship of Grand Prix motor racing of the 1920s and 1930s. So as far as our research, the first ever grand prix was conducted as Turin grand prix race.
Going back to the history before world war, a number of Grand Prix racing organisations had laid out rules for a world championship, but due to the suspension of racing during the conflict, the World Drivers Championship was not formalised until 1947 but it was the year, 1950 in which the first ever world championship race was held which took place at Silverstone, United Kingdom in 1950.
Parallelly other National championships were held, which existed in South Africa and the UK in the 1960s and 1970s, but they were not popular as the F1 racing championship.
The results of each race are evaluated using a points system which was defined by the racing council committee to determine two annual World Championships. For these races, professional drivers were only allowed and the drivers must also hold valid Super Licences, which at that time was the highest class of racing licence which is to be issued by the FIA.
The races must run on tracks graded “1”, the highest grade-rating issued by the FIA, which was build specially for racing purpose.
