There is not a better day to release the very first trailer and release date for the second season of The Twilight Zone compared to National Twilight Zone Day (yup, that’s now ). Simon Kinberg’s and Jordan Peele’s modern-day re-imagining of Rod Serling anthology series will start June 25 on CBS All Accessibility with all 10 mind-bending episodes.
This anthology’s sophomore setup will dive into conscious storytelling with episodes that take the audience to the next dimension of sight and sound but also mind.
While the new season will include a roster of celebrities telling stories which vary from literary to fantasy to completely 29, peele will reprise his role as host. The guest cast includes Morena Baccarin, Kylie Bunbury, Jenna Elfman, Ethan Embry, Sky Ferreira, Tavi Gevinson, Topher Grace, Tony Hale, Gillian Jacobs, David Krumholtz, Thomas Lennon, Sophia Macy, Natalie Martinez, Joel McHale, Chris Meloni, Gretchen Mol, Paula Newsome, Billy Porter, Jimmi Simpson, Jurnee Smollett, Daniel Sunjata, Damon Wayans Jr., among others.
The first Twilight Zone debuted on October 2, 1959, on CBS. Peele’s first period and the version of this anthology series of Kinberg started. Season 1 published episodes although the next season will drop all of the episodes on June 25.
The Twilight Zone is Created by CBS Television Studios in association with Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions and Kinberg’s Genre Films. In addition to Kinberg and Peele, Win Rosenfeld, Audrey Chon, Alex Rubens, Glen Morgan, Carol Serling, and Rick Berg also serve as executive producers.
