We had expected that Ducati would be exhibiting the much-awaited Multistrada V4 at the 2019 EICMA or the Ducati World Premiere. So the Italian bike manufacturer decided to bring their 2020 model range. So a bunch of other new bikes. Yet the Multi V4 displays no warning.
Now, however, the new Multistrada V4 has spotted giving us a far better look at the Multistrada series flagship motorcycle.
Ducati hasn’t radically altered the product but it has made several changes to better separate it from the Multistrada series. A new LED headlamp panel, a somewhat restyled fairing, and new mirrors reveal the test mule.
The big difference in the rear subframe between the Multistrada V4 and the other models is.
What you can also see is the new exhaust system. Showing the Multistrada V4 is compatible with Euro 5/BS6. Indeed, this is the same 1.103cc engine as the mad Streetfighter V4 on Panigale V4.
Yet to suit its road-biased adventure tourer style. It is likely to be a little underpowered.
The basic and top-of-line S version, which could come with Skyhook suspension system from Ducati and a variety of electronic goodies.
Ducati needs to optimize the V4 engine’s capacity. So we are now on the verge of seeing the third V4-powered iteration.
Ducati announced that by 2021 the Multistrada V4 will enter showrooms. So there’s plenty of time left for Ducati to test every nut and bolt of this moto. However, at the forthcoming EICMA, we should expect the bike manufacturer to demonstrate the development version of the Multistrada flagship.
