Toto Wolff jokes Lewis Hamilton going to Mars with Me

Forget a change to Ferrari, Mercedes boss Toto Wolff joked his next move is to”Mars” with Lewis Hamilton to determine if they could win anything else there.

Rumors have ramped up at the off-season of Hamilton leaving Mercedes, the team he has won five Drivers’ Championships with, and registering with competitions Ferrari for 2021.

Ex-F1 team owner Eddie Jordan afterward complex things further when he implied Wolff, whose potential since Mercedes principal is also in doubt, would join Hamilton in the Scuderia.

Both Ferrari and Hamilton have confessed to being connected, but it appears Wolff has grown tired of answering the rumors badly and gave an alternate.

“Sounds like a good plan,” Wolff said in an interview with Kronen Zeitung newspaper.

But I put something different out there: fly to Mars whether there’s anything to be won there and see.

“In all seriousness, I need to be successful with Mercedes in 2020, and what happens after that will be decided in the next few months”

Wolff nevertheless will find it hard to relax, although Together with the 2019 campaign now over F1 is currently preparing to close down over the Christmas time.

“Three weeks of vacation won’t help you also have to have phases of recovery throughout the year,” he explained.

And when F1 does return to the 2020 season, Wolff says he will tie Michael Schumacher‘s record of seven names and all Mercedes have to do is give Hamilton a car.

“If we give him a vehicle that is at the level of the others — it doesn’t need to be better — then he will do it since he’s got the qualities,” stated the Mercedes boss.
