Toyota Racing Development GR Supra 3000GT Concept Teased, Tuning Up For Supra At SEMA

TRD popularly known as Toyota racing development is reported to be preparing a supra bend up to 11 for SEMA, which is inspired from the classical Supra concept. The new teased model is reported with aggressive looks, more power and big wings. It the latest teaser video, we can see a towering rear wing with a smaller spoiler worked into the boot lid.

The model aggressively flaunts triangular vents on the front bonnet, capable of handling the heat of the engine produced by the car’s inline-six-cylinder engine. According to reports, TRD hasn’t confirmed about the numerical power of the 3000GT concept. The whole car flaunts an aggressively styled body, including both the front as well as back.

The rear of the car features an aggressively-vented bonnet and pumped-up fenders. It also runs with a big rear wing, including 90s five-spoke wheels. Now that there’s a new Supra on the block, Toyota racing development and its Gazoo Racing division, are coming out with a new version of the 3000GT, and that car will make its grand debut at SEMA in Las Vegas, according to a video teaser released by TRD on Sunday.

The information regarding the new car is not still known completely, but TRD has released a mostly inscrutable 5-minute, 21-second video that appears to be made photocopies of cars to tease us. The 3000GT also with a unique front bumper is made from a carbon-fibre covering the Supra’s non-functional door vent, new side skirts and a rear bumper with an aggressive diffuser and side panels.

According to Toyota the new kit, hood vents and wing have “optimal aerodynamics,” but makes no claims as to any performance metrics. The whole car was wrapped in a brushed silver colour with gold accents, and there are the requisite sponsor stickers on the doors and rear quarter panels.

The 19-inch forged-aluminium wheels from TWS Motorsport are lighter and stronger than the Supra’s stock wheels, and they’re wrapped in R888R tires. The 3000GT has been lowered on adjustable Tien coilovers, it has new Brembo GT-S Monobloc brake callipers, and an HKS exhaust system has been fitted.
