The motorcycle has a fuel capacity of 24 L and has a weight of 797 lbs, which makes it quite likeable. The dimension of the length of 2500 mm and width of 970 mm seems a lot spacious. Also, the seat height is 740 mm, which seems quite adequate for the style.
The bike can gain a top speed of 145 mph and delivers a power of 127.1 hp on the rear wheel while figures may go up to 148 hp. The toque on the rear bike is 144. 6 lb-ft but the figures may go up to 163 lb-ft.
The bike is said to be better braked and the handling is quite smoother as compared to the other bikes. It has been in the market with various models but the roadster is the only available now in the market. The others were the original rocket III, the classic and the Tourer. It has been the latest exhibit of UK national motorcycle museum and has been awarded the Cruising Rider by magazines.
The 1695 mm wheelbase of this model and primary gear and shaft final drive transmission provide for its better and smooth handling on the rough roads.
It was designed as a competitor to Harley Davidson ultra glide and the Honda Goldwing and has served as a better one in the field.
Nonetheless, the bike is overall a good competition in its field and draws the attention of most classic bike riders with its polished, experimented design and high-grade specifications.
