Triumph Tiger 800 XCx: specs and review

It takes more than a heavy-duty frame to survive Indian roads. And when you reduce or half the number of tires, the game changes. Bikes have always been the love of Indians. We are fond of them and take them anywhere and everywhere, and tourers are the best companions specifically. Triumph Tiger 800 XCx is closer to satisfy all that counts on the roads.

Launched last year, the Tiger 800 XCx is an addition to the XC segment. It has an 800-cc 3-cylinder liquid-cooled engine right at its heart. With deliverance of 94- horsepower, the XCx is equipped with sequential electronic fuel injection. A six-speed gearbox helps with varied power delivery. This 205-kg of heavy machinery is everything. Its tech-wonders comes with 6 different ride modes to select the best one which suits you. It gives options in layouts, colours and style of full-colour TFT instruments. For the best riding, traction control and ABS are also available for both roads and off-road. There are dual Bembo front discs on the XCx.

The reviews tell that Tiger 800 XCx is comfortable on twists and turns and with a ride height of 840mm the long roads are no more back pain. Its light clutch, foolproof gears are ease. It provides good off-road abilities over slow speed gnarly tracks. The 800 cc eats up 3.5L/100 km which is quite pocket friendly.
