Vikings is a historical drama tv series made by Michael Hirst. It premiered on the History Channel on March 3, 2013, in Canada. Creators declared in January 2019 that the 20 episode-long sixth season was going to be the final.
The season they were released on December 4, 2019. But as lovers know, a sequel is all set to release by overdue 2021 on Netflix. It is called Vikings: Valhalla. It’s supposed to cover the loose ends of the previous season.
Inspired by the sagas of Viking Ragnar Lothbrok, Vikings relies on the mythical but infamous Norse heroes. It revolves around the farmer Ragnar who rises to fame and eventually becomes the Scandinavian King.
The series follows his experiences in England, Scandinavia, and the Mediterranean and his rise.
That the focus was on Ragnar and his kids, there have been power changes. But Valhalla is likely to shift its focus a little.
