91Mobiles has quoted retail market sources as claiming that the Vivo X50 Pro will be launched in India in mid-July. No information has been given regarding the launch of Vivo X50 and Vivo X50 Pro + in the report. Vivo India CEO Jerome Chen had already informed via Facebook post that Vivo X50 series will be brought to India. But he did not say anything about the launch date and price in his post. The Vivo X50 Pro will be the first Vivo X series smartphone to be launched in India in the last two years. Vivo X21 was the last phone of Vivo’s X series launched in India.
The Vivo X50 Pro runs on Android 10 based on Funtouch OS 10.5 and supports dual-SIM (Nano). The phone features a 6.56-inch full-HD + (1080×2376 pixels) AMOLED curved display, which includes 398 PPI pixel density, 92.6 percent screen-to-body ratio, and HDR10 + support. It works on Snapdragon 765G chipset and supports up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage.
The Vivo X50 Pro also has a quad-camera setup at the back, with a 48-megapixel primary camera with f / 1.6 aperture, a 13-megapixel portrait camera with f / 2.46 aperture, an 8-megapixel telephoto with f / 3.4 aperture. Is shooter and includes an 8-megapixel macro camera with f / 2.2 aperture.
