Volkswagen Arteon, a next-gen fastback launched in 2019. 2020 is here and the paparazzi spotted the 2021 Arteon facelift roaming around un-disguised.
The 2019 Arteon, which was a 2.0-liter inline engine, was quite powerful. Yet after the spy shots, we want more. VW Arteon 2021 is expected to bear 3.0-liter turbocharged V-6 pumping out around 400 horsepower. The spy shots gave a good glimpse of the altered front fascia, sleeker body line, and slightly revised taillights.
The new-gen could expect the Plug-in hybrid variant as well.
Volkswagen Arteon, from the launch itself, gave a tough competition to sedans. Volkswagen believing that the Arteon’s upscale exterior, high feature content, and German-built pedigree will appeal to traditional-sedan customers. The handsome fastback Arteon was powerful yet comfy. The 2.0 direct-injected inline engine hit could 60 in six seconds. A 268 hp of max power and 258 pound-ft torque came through an eight-speed automatic transaxle pairs. 2019 Arteon was sporty, elegant car and the pied shots seem to be promising as to the future of the 2021 VW Arteon.
