What We Do In The Shadows’ Season 2 Episode 9: With The Nandor-guillermo Arc Tied Up Neatly For Now, Will The Comedy Series Manage To Be As Enjoyable?

Together with the Nandor-Guillermo arc tied up neatly for now, will the humor series be able to be enjoyable?

Season 2 Episode 8 of FX’s vampire mockumentary series’What We Do in the Shadows’ neatly tied an arc that has been central to the plot for a while now. collaboration’, Nandor (Kayvan Novak) along with his recognizable Guillermo (Harvey Guillén) briefly parted and then were united.

Guillermo’s rising dissatisfaction with Nandor’s lack of follow-through on his promise to turn him into a vampire was creating a rift between the master and the slave. But the episode managed to reconcile this dispute.

So, with only two episodes staying in Season 2, what do we expect’ What we do at the Shadow’s relation to stories that are serialized? There is obviously still the question of Guillermo being a pure vampire-slayer (he’s the descendant of Van Helsing), and the way the family would react to this information. It is, however, improbable that Season 2 will touch upon that. Especially now that Season 3 has been greenlit, that might be saved for the entire year to come.

It’s more than likely that the remaining two episodes will be unrelated shenanigans of their slave and their four vampires.

In Episode 9,’Witches’, per IMDb, Nandor and Laszlo will be abducted by a coven of witches. The others venture to Brooklyn to rescue them.

The promo for the show does show as much as the synopsis. The voucher starts with Nadja (Natasia Demetriou) responding to some short-circuit by getting suddenly anxious concerning witches. Nandor describes to the crowd,” She blames everything on witches,” having an exasperated sigh.

You may check out the promo here.

She then goes to the front yard, smelling leaves and calling backyard assortment dirt”witch dust”. Nadja doesn’t like witches.

‘What We Do throughout the next season, in the Shadows’, has maintained a balance between a plot and random adventures. That has made the season more fun than the first though Season 1 was hilarious on its own. With a plotline neatly tied will this season’s last couple of episodes be good? Only time will tell.

New episodes of’What We Do in the Shadows’ Season 2 air on FX each Wednesday at 10 pm ET/PT.
