13 Reasons Why season three has been released, which means the countdown for the series’s fourth and last season has already begun. With only one more season fans are wondering what will happen next for the pupils of Liberty High as they deal with their main issue yet while attempting to survive the brutal hierarchy which makes up their high school. Is there a trailer?

Netflix eventually released the trailer for the final season of 13 Reasons Why and things are not looking great for Clay and the rest of the gang. It appears like Winston is out for revenge for Monty’s death and Clay is not handling it. Check out the preview below:

When does season 4 come out?

Netflix formally announced the fourth and last season of 13 Reasons Why will be released on June 5.

Who will be coming back?

Along with teaser and the date, Netflix confirmed the cast and there are lots of fresh and familiar faces that will pop up. The season four cast includes:

Dylan Minnette as Clay Jensen, Alisha Boe as Jessica Davis, Brandon Flynn as Justin Foley, Miles Heizer as Alex Standall, Grace Saif as Ani Achola, Christian Navarro as Tony Padilla, Ross Butler as Zach Dempsey, Devin Druid as Tyler Down, Timothy Granaderos as Montgomery de la Cruz, Anne Winters as Chloe, Deaken Bluman as Winston Williams, Tyler Barnhardt as Charlie St. George, Austin Aaron as Luke Holliday, Inde Navarrette as Estela de la Cruz, RJ Brown as Caleb, Steven Weber as Principle Bowen, Brenda Strong as Mrs. Walker, Amy Hargreaves as Mrs. Jensen, Josh Hamilton as Matt Jensen, Mark Pellegrino as Deputy Standall and presenting Jan Luis Castellanos as Diego Torres.

Although he is not listed, Justin Prentice does look so there’s a potential chance we’re seeing more of him.

What is going to happen in season 4?

According to Netflix, “In the series’ last season, Liberty High School’s Senior Course prepares for cooperation. But before they say goodbye, they’ll have to maintain a dangerous secret concealed and face dreadful decisions that could affect their futures forever.”

Since it had been revealed that Alex and Jessica were the ones who killed Bryce season 3 finished in a cliffhanger. They have a copy of the tape where he confesses to raping Hannah and Jessica. Monty was killed if he went to jail and was accused of the murder of Bryce. But, Winston knows that Monty couldn’t have done it so that covert could become undone as he was with him all night.

Meanwhile, the season the final scene of 3 featured a fisherman finding the guns that Tony and Clay got rid of for Tyler in the lake. Will the authorities trace it back or will get blamed for it all? We’ll have to wait to learn.

How is the cast reacting to the show ending after season 4?

While fans might have to wait a bit more time to say goodbye to their favorite characters one final season, the cast and crew have officially wrapped filming the entire series along with season four and have been sharing their messages on social media.

Dylan Minnette, that performs Clay, posted a sweet message on Twitter confirming that filming has wrapped and stated, “it’s been a life-changing 4 season making the show, and an era/chapter I won’t forget. Super grateful to everybody involved. Eager for you all to see that the final season next year. It’s emo.”
