    2020 Tesla Roadster: The much anticipated car rolling out soon

    One of the most innovation-driven companies across the globe, Tesla Inc., is an American automobile and energy company based in Palo Alto, California and founded in 2003 by engineers Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning, making tesla one of the most renowned companies in the automobile industry. As a technology company and an independent automaker company, aimed at offering electric driven cars at a much affordable range to the average customers. In recent years, tesla was awarded as the world’s best selling plug-in passenger car manufacturer in 2018. Tesla’s technology strategy focuses on pure electric propulsion technology and transferring other approaches from the technology industry to the transportation industry.
    The Tesla Roadster was teased to the public at tesla semi event on November 2017 but would be commercially available to the people in 2020. The 2020 Tesla Roadster is an all-electric battery-powered four-seater sports car, which is the successor of tesla’s first production car, which was the 2008 roadster. Tesla claimed acceleration of 0-100 Kmph in just 1.9 seconds, with a top speed nearly above 400 Kmph, and a quarter-mile time of only 8.8 seconds. The new model incorporates all-wheel drive, utilizing triple electric motors- one at the front and two at the rear-to achieve all-wheel drive. The 2020 Tesla roadster is power-packed with a 200k-Wh battery that provided up to 620 miles of range in a single complete charge, which is tested to be achievable under low to moderate usage. The body styling is done in 2+2 coupe(two-seater in SpaceX configuration). The wheel produces about 10,000 Nm of torque providing perfect traction control to the vehicle. The incredible performance is managed by a plaid powertrain which is reported to enter production in around the year’s time.
    The Founder series of the 2020 Tesla roadster is expected to be priced at $2,50,000 which will be exclusively available for the first 1000 customers, and for the rest other customers, the model is expected to launch at a price tag of $2,00,000. The interior design to the new model is expected to be completely buttonless, equipped with a large touchscreen panel to manage all the vehicle operations. The Tesla Roadster is all set to compete with other Hypercar soon.
